Kim Victoria Cattrall is an English-Canadian actor born on the 21st of August 1956. Her most well-known role was Samantha Jones, in the HBO Series Sex and the City. Sex and the City earned her five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. The year 2002 saw her win the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting actress. She reprised her role as the lead in the Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. She is also known for her roles as a leading actress in 1980s movies Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often associated with her popular HBO sitcom Sex & the City, where she portrayed Samantha Jones.
