Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is a Canadian actor best known for her portrayal of the character of Deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra was from Italian heritage was born on October 31, 1979, in Vancouver British Columbia. She was captivated by acting from the age of eight and appeared in numerous commercials while a young. The acting career she was pursuing was cut short for some time. However, in 2001 she returned to the scene at just the age of 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine named Cerra as one of the city's top five young actresses. Cerra was a part of the show as deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka. The Syfy Series was broadcasted by Syfy between 2006 and 2012. Cerra also starred in the Michael Buble video Save the Last Dance for Me in the year 2006. Cerra has appeared in television shows that are popular, including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word as well as many more. Also, she has appeared in big films like Man About Town featuring Ben Affleck alongside Rebecca Romijn or Blade:Trinity which featured Wesley Snipes. Her body and facial features were used to model Ashley Williams, a character from The Mass Effect video game franchise. Khondabi said she was a middle-child and so got to steal clothes from the closets of my sisters. Khondabi said that she along with Joey were best friends at Greenwood Christian School for years prior to their relationship beginning in their senior year in high school. Howard relocated to Irmo following his graduation of Dutch Fork High School, however Khondabi was still his close friend. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School in 2007 and the University of South Carolina in 2011 with a broadcast journalism degree. She was a student of sports management and entertainment.
